A claim on your comprehensive motor insurance policy can leave you responsible for paying its compulsory and voluntary excess.
Excess Protection can reimburse that amount after your motor insurer has successfully settled a claim for accidental damage, fire, theft or vandalism, up to your chosen claim limit.
Glass claims, breakdown and misfuelling are not covered. Other exclusions and conditions apply; please read the policy documents.
The cover level chosen is the Maximum Policy Limit that will be paid during the period of cover.
Available cover level options are:
- £300
- £500
- £750
- £1000
- £1500
Once the Maximum Policy Limit is exhausted, your Excess Protection cover will terminate and you will then be liable for all and any future Excess payments as defined in your Motor Insurance Policy. Unless you purchase another policy.
