GAP insurance policies

Cancelling within the first 30-days:

If you wish to cancel your GAP insurance policy within 30-days of purchasing it, please let us know and so long as no claim has been made and no claims are pending, we'll cancel your policy immediately and refund the amount paid in full.

Cancelling after the first 30-days:

If you wish to cancel your GAP insurance policy after the first 30-days, please let us know and so long as no claim has been made and no claims are pending, we'll cancel your policy immediately. This cancellation will invoke a daily pro-rata rebate of unused premium calculated from the date that we receive your cancellation request. This rebate amount can either be used against the cost of a new policy policy on a new vehicle or, be refunded to you. Depending on the underwriter of your policy, a cancellation fee may apply if you are not using the rebated amount towards the cost of a new policy - please refer to the full terms and conditions of your policy for more details.

If you elect to have the rebated amount refunded to you and the cancellation is within 6-months of you having purchased the policy, so long as the card that you used to pay for your policy has not expired we will normally be able to refund the amount back to the card that you originally used to pay for the policy. If it is not possible to refund the amount back to the original card used for payment, we'll send the money to you by way of a bank transfer instead.

Please note that we no longer issue cheques.
